Pilot projects

The BEMServer solution has been deployed in 4 pilot sites.

Wilanów Town Hall Poland
  • Wilanów Town Hall

    The building is a relatively new construction, built in 2014. It is a public building (Town Hall building) which also contains some offices.

    City of Warsaw is the building owner of the demonstration site and manages itself its own building and is the end-user of BEMServer and its modules. BEMServer is aimed at tracing wasteful behavior, evaluating its impact and notifying users and facility managers. Moreover, the end user aims at building a multi-year energy action plan and comparing energy consumption in the range of several years.

    The building was built in 1988 and substantially renovated in 2014. It is highly energy efficient and has received three certifications (HQE, LEED Platinum and, BREEAM).The owner of the building (S.N.C Challenger, subsidiary of Bouygues Construction) is managing his own building with an in-house software and is the end-user of the BEMServer solution with the aim to get action management and decision-making assistance (proposition of actions to assist facility and energy managers in their actions and decisions);

  • Nanogune

    The building was designed to fabricate nanoscale materials and characterize their properties on the nanometer scale with high sensitivity. Thus, it was built on the basis of sophisticated architectural and engineering solutions to create a unique environment, free of electromagnetic interference and with an ultralow level of vibration.

    The 6 200 m2 building was inaugurated in January 2009, housing 15 ultra-sensitive laboratories and a cleanroom of nearly 300 m2. It consumes much more energy than expected.
    GIROA is the facility manager of the NANOGUNE building (maintenance) and is the end-user of BEMServer and its modules. BEMServer is aimed at optimizing maintenance interventions and ease the day-to-day job conducted by GIROA.

    The building is a new engineering teaching and research facility at the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) north campus. The 4-storey building was opened in 2011 and includes offices, classrooms and labs.

    The site is managed by NUIG's Buildings & Estates office. BEMServer is connected to the BMS systems using the Cylon Active Energy monitoring system. BEMServer is aimed at detecting abnormal functioning and identify reasons for any anomalies observed.
